The Lock Haven Area YMCA is committed to community wellness. We offer a full range of programs to strengthen members in spirit, mind and body for youth and adults. Whether you are brand new to exercise or a seasoned fitness fanatic, you will find top-of-the-line staff and equipment to help you meet your fitness goals. Your options are numerous! What's best? All full facility members may request a free facility orientation. And classes and programs are either included in your YMCA membership or offered at the reduced member rate!

 Facility Orientations

Each new member is entitled to sign up for one session with a member of our Fitness Team Staff during which you will be given an orientation on how to use the equipment in the cardio room and circuit room, as well as a full-facility tour. Adult Group Exercise

From low-impact exercise, HIIT training, stretching and strength training, to indoor cycling, water exercise, and yoga, we have group exercise classes for everyone.  Group exercise classes provide a fun environment, a supportive and motivational atmosphere, and guidance from an educated and experienced instructor.

Wellness Programs

Because we know that healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing mind, body,and spirit...well-being and fitness at the Y includes more than just working out.  In addition to our physical fitness classes and facilities, we provided educational programs to promote healthier decisions, and we offer a variety of programs that support physical, intellectual, and spiritual strength.  Some programs are offered on a seasonal basis, so check back regularly to see what's new.

Customized fitness plans!  Our personal trainers will develop training plans to meet your unique fitness goals and needs.  Whether you are just getting started, recovering from an  injury or illness, want to take your training to the next level, or just need some instruction, we will work with you to achieve your goals with a pace and plan that is right for YOU.
